<p>My advisor was quite quirky, and he was also the department chairman. Students would come into his office to experience the following:</p>
<p>Timid Student: &ldquo;Excuse me sir, I have a question....&rdquo;
GRK Yells: &ldquo;SIX VOLTS!&rdquo;  &ndash; as if that was the answer to their question.
Timid student: &ndash;trembles in fear&ndash;</p>
<p>I was frequently sitting in his office during these exchanges and somehow that became my nickname. </p>

<p>I have a deep background in technology. I focus on embedded systems, security, and prototyping. I enjoy building pretty much anything. I love cooking, especially barbeque, and I&rsquo;m a car enthusiast. I post about things I find interesting.</p>
